The Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine (JVIM) has current openings for five Associate Editor positions. This is an excellent opportunity for ACVIM Diplomates looking to get more involved with the ACVIM and to gain recognition and respect for their role in contributing to the advancement of the profession.
We are currently seeking Diplomates with experience in the following areas:
Associate Editors play a critical role in the success of the Journal. Key duties include the appraisal of submitted manuscripts, identifying reviewers, evaluating reviewers’ comments and making recommendations on suitability for publication in the Journal.
Associate Editors are compensated $2,000 annually, have an opportunity to influence and guide access to cutting edge knowledge and advancements in veterinary internal medicine, and have a unique opportunity to build peer connections and advance their career, in addition to other benefits.
