The 2025 ACVIM Forum offers a blend of in-person, live-streamed, and on-demand sessions to fit your schedule and learning style. Join us in Louisville, Kentucky, from June 19-21, 2025, for the in-person conference, with on-demand content available through October 31, 2025.
The Specialty Symposium, exclusively for ACVIM member Diplomates and Candidates, will take place in person on June 18, 2025. Following the in-person program, Live Virtual Day will be held on June 26, 2025, featuring live session Q&As and accessible to all conference participants.

The ACVIM Forum is designed for veterinary professionals who want to expand their clinical knowledge, explore the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, and connect with a network of specialists and leaders in the field. Whether you're a technician, veterinary student, a new resident, or an experienced specialist, the ACVIM Forum offers sessions and resources beneficial to every stage of your career. Additionally, primary care veterinarians interested in deepening their knowledge in specific specialties are also encouraged to attend!
Yes, in-person attendees will also get access to the virtual offerings. With two ways to attend, the 2025 ACVIM Forum is created for a unique attendee experience.
In Person: Live educational sessions delivered to an in-person audience in Louisville, Kentucky. All participants will have access to all virtual offerings.
On Demand: On-demand sessions will focus on session topics that are successfully delivered in a virtual environment and are primarily lecture-based. All on-demand offerings will be available through the end of October 2025.
Livestreamed from Louisville: A limited number of in-person, live sessions will be livestreamed for the virtual audience June 19-21, 2025. All live-streamed sessions will be captured for on-demand viewing after the in-person conference concludes.
Live Virtual Day: Following the in-person program, Live Virtual Day will be held June 26, 2025, which includes live session Q&As and will be available to all conference participants. All live virtual sessions will be captured for on-demand viewing after Live Virtual Day concludes. Live Virtual Day sessions will follow a thematic approach this year, focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Yes, there will be limited sessions that are livestreamed from Louisville to virtual attendees within the online conference platform. In addition, Live Virtual Day with speaker Q&As will be held June 26, 2025 and is available online to all conference registrants.
Yes, Specialty Symposium Day will be held on June 18, 2025. Please note that the Specialty Symposium is in person and limited to ACVIM Diplomates and Candidates only.

The 2025 ACVIM Forum Exhibit Hall will be open the following hours:
Thursday, June 19: 9:00 am-7:00 pm.
Friday, June 20: 10:00 am-4:30 pm.
Speakers have been notified of their session approval.
The Call for Research Abstracts closes on January 29th, and presenters will be notified in March 2025.
Companion Animal Research Exchange and the Large Animal Research Exchange applications open on February 6th and close on March 13th. Presenters will be notified in late March/early April.
Yes. We will work closely with our official, approved Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to offer time during the live, in-person 2025 ACVIM Forum in Louisville, Kentucky.
Access to download your ACVIM Forum completion certificate is available for a limited time. Be sure to save your certificate before the deadline to ensure you have a copy for your records.

All cancellations must be submitted via email to the ACVIM at Forum@ACVIM.org. Cancellations received on or before 11:59 pm MT on April 28, 2025, are eligible to receive a refund of all paid registration fees as follows:
Registration fees under $100 - full refund less a $25 cancellation fee.
Registration fees over $100 - full refund less a $100 cancellation fee.
Cancellations received after 11:59 pm MT on April 28, 2025, are eligible for the following:
In-person registration fees will be transferred to a virtual registration and participants will receive a refund of the price difference between in-person and virtual participation.
NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS for virtual participation will be issued.

The 2025 ACVIM Forum offers a combination of in-person, live virtual sessions and asynchronous, on-demand recordings. Registered attendees will be eligible for two types of RACE CE credit in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE approval: 1) Live, Interactive and 2) Anytime, Non-Interactive distance continuing education credits.
Claiming session CE credits is or are in accordance with AAVSB RACE-approval standards, however participants should be aware that some state boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. Please contact your state board directly with any questions.
Individuals are only able to claim credit for a session once, even if available both in the live program and on-demand. Participants will be responsible for ensuring they do not claim credit twice for the same session.
The AAVSB’s Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) program develops and applies uniform standards for veterinary medicine continuing education. The AAVSB is utilizing Racetrack® to optimize the CE tracking experience for both CE providers and the AAVSB's Member Boards. This system allows veterinary professionals the chance to record all continuing education (CE) coursework in a single centralized database and easily communicates your CE to your credentialing agencies while also allowing those authorized agencies to retrieve your CE. We do encourage all attendees of any RACE program to create a free RACEtrack account to track their CE here.

Yes, due to the success of our previous hybrid format, a virtual registration option will be available for the 2025 ACVIM Forum.
We hope to see you at the 2025 ACVIM Forum, however you choose to participate.
The virtual content will include live-streamed sessions from the in-person event, June 19 - June 21, 2025. Additionally, over 70 on-demand sessions will be made available at the start of the 2025 ACVIM Forum.
Live Virtual Day will take place on June 26, 2025. Any livestreamed or Live Virtual Day sessions will be content captured, in addition to a select number of in-person sessions content captured from the event. The on-demand content will be available online through October 2025.
You will see high-caliber sessions focused on the needs of specialists at the ACVIM Forum. With RACE-approved CE and new research available, we will bring you a wide variety of specialty program and technician tracks. Additionally, the exhibitor listing will offer the latest industry products and services.
Live Virtual Day will take a thematic approach this year. There will be 6 sessions in a single track focused on Artificial Intelligence.
Access to the on-demand sessions for the 2025 ACVIM Forum will be available starting on June 18, 2025, including access to the on-demand sessions. Content-captured sessions will be made available online in July 2025.
The ACVIM Forum team is once again working with Cadmium as the conference platform and mobile app for the 2025 ACVIM Forum. This platform will optimize our program in a hybrid environment. Once registered, all registrants will receive communications with system requirements to access the hybrid conference platform and start building personal schedules.
Diplomates and Candidates will use their ACVIM.org web user ID and password to log in. If you've attended an ACVIM Forum in the past and you don't remember your login information please email us at Forum@ACVIM.org.
