Candice Chu, DVM, PhD, DACVP

Dr. Candice Chu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology and a board-certified clinical pathologist. Her academic journey began with a DVM degree from National Taiwan University and a PhD in veterinary pathology and residency training at Texas A&M University. Prior to her current role, she served as an assistant professor of clinical pathology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research integrates renal biomarkers, digital cytology, and artificial intelligence (AI) in veterinary medicine. She is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists Pathology Informatics Committee and a sought-after speaker on AI applications at several major veterinary conferences, including ACVIM, AVMA, ACVR, ACVP, and VMX.
