MTA Light Rail
The MTA Light Rail system services downtown Baltimore, Timonium, and Hunt Valley from BWI Marshall Airport with a current rate of $1.90 and approximately 30 minutes each way. The BWI Marshall Airport Light Rail Station is located immediately outside the lower level of the terminal building, adjacent to Concourse E.
The closest light rail station to the Baltimore Convention Center is located one block away, at the corner of Pratt/Lombard St. and Howard St. A full map of light rail stations can be found here.

Taxis
• Taxicabs are readily available and provide service to the downtown Baltimore area and surrounding counties. The taxi stands are located just outside of the baggage claim area on the Lower Level of the BWI Marshall Airport terminal near doors 5 and 13.
• Check with your taxicab company of choice (or with your driver at the airport) for more information on fares and destinations served. Please ensure they accept credit cards prior to departure if that is your preferred method of payment. All taxicabs dispatched at BWI Marshall Airport must have and use taxi meters.
Water Taxis
Water taxi service is available to and from The Inner Harbor, the National Aquarium, the East Harbor being just a short walk into Baltimore’s Little Italy, the historical Fells Point harbor and Federal Hill Park. Ride Share Services

Lyft provide prearranged transportation between BWI Marshall Airport and passenger-specified locations. Passengers arrange service online, typically using a smartphone app. Drivers use their personal, non-commercial vehicles to transport passengers.
• Ride share services pick up and drop off passengers at the terminal curbs on the Departures/Ticketing Level between doors 9 and 11.
Hotel Courtesy Vehicles
No downtown Baltimore hotels provide courtesy shuttle service to and from the airport.
Rental Car
The rental car center at BWI Marshall Airport is located at its own facility, with
free shuttle service carrying travelers to and from the airport approximately every ten minutes. Passengers arriving on flights should take the free shuttle from the lower level terminal for a ten-minute ride to the facility. Advanced
reservations are recommended.
