Welcome to the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM)


The ACVIM is the largest recognized veterinary specialty organization. Previous diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (DACVN), are now officially Diplomates of the ACVIM, Now DACVIM (Nutrition).

 

Nutrition recently became the sixth ACVIM board-certified specialty, along with small animal internal medicine, large animal internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and oncology.

This recent integration of nutrition under the specialty umbrella of the ACVIM represents a significant advancement in the field of veterinary medicine.
